THE SINGAPORE BASE
GRANT TO BE MADE THIS YEAR. (By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright.) (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) LONDON, January 27. The First. Lord of the Admiralty (Lord Chelmsford) is considering the Navy Estimates. It is expected that the Singapore base will be allotted £50,000 and that the full cost will not be reached before 1928.
