PROFESSIONALS AT PLAY. NEW YORK, January 27. A telegram from Los Angeles states that Sarazen defeated Havers 5 up and 4 to go in a 72 hole match for the unofficial golf professional championship of the world. Sarazen check-mated Haver at the end, of the 68th hole, Sarazen being 280 and Havers 286.
