The Customs collected at Auckland in October constitute a record, being £259,658, compared with £222,216 in September. The number of customs entries was also a record. There are at present 1100 electrically driven milking plants in New Zealand. Two thousand competitors were registered by the New eZ aland Atehletic and Cycling Union last year, and this year an additional 493. During last season some 2100 tons of casein were graded for export in N:?w Zealand.
