FRENCH PROPAGANDA
BIG PARLIAMENTARY GRANT. (By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright.) (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) PARIS, November 15. The Government submitted to Parliament a Bill providing for an additional expenditure of 6,000,000 francs annually for the circulation of French information abroad. The preamble reviews the alleged unfavourable position of France compared with other countries as regards the distribution of news in the foreign press and emphasises the propaganda value of effective daily news services. The Bill provides that the money be handled similarly to secret service funds.
