CALVING TROUBLES
MR W D. BLAIR AT WYNDHAM. (From Our Own Correspondent.) There was a good attendance of farraew in the Oddfellows' Hall. Wyndham, last night, when Mr W. D. Blair, Department of Agriculture, gave an interesting address on calving troubles and how to deal with them. He dealt principally with the retention of the cleanring and how to clear it whenever trouble arose. The lecture was followed with interest, and at the conclusion the lecturer threw some lantert slides on the screen showing the various positions met with in calving. He also explained how to deal with the unusual positions. At the conclusion the chairman, Mr R. Arnott, moved a vote of thanks to Mr Blair, which was seconded by Mr John Smith and carried by acclamation.
