The Foreign Office announces that France has decided to recognise the King of Greece. A GENERAL STRIKE. ATHENS, August 20. A general strike has been proclaimed in Greece As th** Government consider the strike is of a political character they have created a special court-martial before which the leaders will be summoned. They have also ordered the arrest of Benarava, a Jewish Communist, who engineered the ftrike.
