According to a Chicago telegram, Lof Moluinby, boxing promoter, announced that Dempstey would fight Tom Gibbons of Sk Paul at Shelby, Montana, on July 4 in a fifteen round bout. It is understood that Dempsey’s purse is 300,000 dollars.
