Mails for Fiji, Honolulu, Japan, Canada, United States, United Kingdom and Continent of Europe close at Chief Post Office at 12.50 pjn. on Saturday, March 3, for despatch by s.s. Niagara from Auckland ria Vancouver. MARCH 6. Mails for United Kingdom and Continent of Europe close at Chief Post Office at 5.25 a.m. on Tuesday, March 6, for despatch by aa. Athenic from Wellington. Correspondence must be marked "sj. Athenic.” Parcels mails close at noon on March 5. Commencing Monday, 19th inst., Mails for offices north of Dunedin will be closed on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 12.50 p.m. only, owing to through expresses to and from Christchurch not running on these days.
