I MAKING BUILDING BY-LAW. j In pursuance of “The Municipal Corporai tions Act 1923" and “The Bylaws Act i 1908." A T a Special Meeting of the Council of 2jL the Borough of Invercargill held on Tuesday, the 6th day of February, 1923, it was resolved that a Bylaw be made amending and adding to the provisions of Part II of “The Invercargill Bylaw No. 1, 1916," with respect to buildings and other works. A copy of the proposed Bylaw is deposited at the office of the Borough Council in the Municipal Buildings, Tay Street, Invercargill and ie there open to the inspection of the ; public during office hours from the date of > the first publication of this notice until and inclusive of the 6th day of March 1923. The objects and purport of the proposed bylaw are as follows— THAT the proposed bylaw shall apply to all buildings and other works except buildings and works supervised and inspected by a registered architect. THAT any person intending to erect a building or other work shall give written notice to the Engineer. THAT Building Inspector may enter upon and inspect any building or work. Fixing Fees to be paid for inspection of buildings and other works.
