The third Wanganui wool sale was held this evening, 7500 bales being offered to a good attendance of buyers representing Bradford, America, the Continent, and Japan. Bidding was keen, and distinctly improved prices ruled. Medium crossbred averaged a penny to twopence higher, inferior a penny to a penny-halfpenny, course crossbred three-farthings to a penny, inferior a halfpenny to three-farthings, low crossbred a penny to a penny-farthing, Southdown, a penny increase. The range was: Southdown 15R1 to 16d. Medium crossbred 44/46 average 7d to B£d, inferior 5d to 6£d- .
