OUTRAGES IN BELFAST ' EXTENSIVE STREET FIGHTING THE SOUTHERN ELECTIONS (By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright.) | (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) LONDON, May 14. Belfast on Sunday was the scene of a series of fiendish outrages extending into the afternoon and evening when shooting was general in various areas. The victims included a young boy and girl aged twelve years and two women who were shot dead. Fourteen others were wounded. The authorities take a. very grave view and fear further extensive outbreaks. Six persons were wounded during street fighting on Sunday. A Belfast patrol of six police was ambushed in Lurgan, four being wounded. The general election in Southern Ireland will probably he held on June 16. Labour has not acted yet. It as awaiting the result of the Peace Conference which, it is believed has found new ground to explore. Workers seized seven condensed milk factories in the South and are working them on the Soviet system under the Red flag. _____
