STEAMERS COLLIDE
ACCIDENT IN AUCKLAND HARBOUR. (Per United Press Association.) AUCKLAND, May 14. A collision occurred at 6.15 p.m. on Saturday in the harbour between the Gisborne Sheep Fortners’ Tiroa and the ferry steamer Peregrine. The Tiroa, which was outward bound to Gisborne, put back to the wharf with her stern broken, but she was not making water. The Peregrine’s starboard belting was damaged. She continued running.
