DECISION NOT YET REACHED. DISCUSSION WITH THE GOVERNMENT. (Special to thfe Times.) WELLINGTON, May 8. The Post and Telegraph delegates are still wrestling with their problem. They were to have had another meeting with the Post-master-General this afternoon, but they had not reached a stagp where they could give him an answer.. They are to confer again to-morrow. The Hon. J. G. Coates told your correspondent that discussions between the Government and the Post and Telegraph Officers’ Association were proceeding without threats on either side. Various matters had been mentioned. He was asking still for a definite statement one way or the other as to whether the proposed affiliation with the Alliance of Labour was going to proceed.
