PEKIN MINISTERS IN REFUGE. (By Telegraph—Frees Assn.—Copyright.) (Australian and N.Z. Cable.. Association.) PEKIN, May 8. (Received May 8, 9.15 p.m.) The Premier, Liang Shih-yi, has taken refuge in the foreign concession at Tientsin. He has threatened to sail abroad if efforts to arrest him are persisted in. Other dismissed Ministers are also taking refuge in Tientsin Reports state that Wu Pei-fu has declared that if Chang’s forces retreated beyond the Great Wall he would not continue the pursuit. He added that he did not intend to fight Sun Yat Sen’s forces unless the Utter advanced further north. V AR AT TIENTSIN. PEKIN, May 7. (Received- May 8, 11.30 p.m«) Wu Pei-fu proceeded to Tientsin escorted by three train-loads of troops, the FengI tieners offering no resistance.
