ANNUAL MEETING
SOUTHLAND SOCIETY OF PROFSBSIGNAL MUSICIANS. The 17th annual meeting of the Southland Society of Professional Musicians was held in the registered office of the Society yesterday morning, the president in the chair. The report and balance sheet were adopted. The latter showed cash at bank £l2 0/1, and a balance of assets over liabilities of £27 17/1. The following were re-elected for the ensuing year: President Mr IL A. Edwards; vice presidents, Miss McNeil and Mies O’Byrne; hon. treasurer, Mr W. J. Ferguson; hon. secretary, Mr Chas. Gray; other members of council, Mrs Wright, Mis® Crofts and Miss Clement. The annual subscription was fixed at half-a-guinea. Votes of thanks to the hon. auditors, th® press and to the retiring office-bearec® concluded the meeting.
