MORE SUCCESSFUL SESSIONS. I The Gore Competitions were continued on j Saturday and large and enthusiastic aurii- ' ences- attended the sessions throughout the : day. The Prince?? During the evening several competitors appeared in sections of the monologues, character sketches etc. which will not be judged until the end of the sessions. A juvenile party from I vercargill also put on a half-hour entertainment. YESTERDAY’S SESSIONS. Th* Gore Competitions were continued yesterday when the attendances at both sessions were surprisingly good in view of the fact- that there was a big counterattraction in the Gore race meeting. The programmes were interesting and the' work of the competitors generally was of a fairly high standard. The results were as follows: SEANN TRIUBHAIS (Under 12 years).
