After the Maritime Conference, Mr J. W. Hunter, Agent-General for Queensland, visited Doorn but did not meet the Kaiser, although the Dutch authorities offered facilities. He denied that the Kaiser was surrounded by barbed wire entanglements. He was apparently unrestricted.
