As Mails for North Island and Overseas by first expresses from Invercargill do not connect with ferry steamer Mararoa at Lyttelton on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, correspondence must be posted to catch second expresses hence on the previous Saturdays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. TUESDAY, JUNE 14. Mails for United Kingdom and Continent of Europe; also Pitcairn Island and Cristobal (Panama Canal), close at Chief Post Office at 5.25 a.m. on Tuesday, June 14, for despatch by s.s. Shropshire from Wellington. Correspondence must be marked “S.S. Shropshire.” Parcels mails close at 5 pm. on June 13. Mails for Australia, Egypt, South Africa and The East close at Chief Post Office at 5.25 a.m. on Tuesday, June 14 for despatch by s.s. Riverin a from Auckland, and at 12.50 p.m., Tuesday, June 14, for despatch by s.s. Manuka, Wellington to Sydney. R. W. PORTER, Chief Postmaster.
