INDUSTRY AND FINANCE

CONFERENCE AT WASHINGTON. PRESIDENT HARDING AND BANKERS. (By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright.) (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) WASHINGTON, June 11. Leading financiers had a second conference with the President at White House, and considered steps to assist the live stock industry. President Harding urged help through private channels, and bankers will make a survey and probably form several corporations. The conference is the forerunner of a great country-wide financial meeting to be held shortly.
