GERMANY ABLE TO PAY THE INDUSTRIAL REVIVAL (By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright.) (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) LONDON, May 12. Mr Renwick, telegraphing from Berlin, states that as a result of his industrial tour of Germany he is convinced that it is well within Germany’s power to pay up to the extent that the Allies have fixed. They said they could not deliver coal, nevertheless they have increased their contributions from 800,000 tons to 2,200,000 tons monthly, yet industry is not suffering. Germany is also able to export lavishly to Holland. A vast number of workers are willing to work and enable Germany to pay the reparations. Sir John Bradbury’s resignation or intended resignation from the Reparations Commission is officially denied.
