The Georgian Government telegraphed a denial of the reported fall of Tiflis CONFLICTING REPORTS. ANARCHY .^ T D PILLAGE RAMPANT LONDON, February 28. (Received March 1, 8.5 p.m. i Reports as to the position at Tiflis are conflicting. Georgian Government telegrams state that it has not fallen. The Times’s Constantinople correspon dent states that anarchy and pillage are rampant in Tiflis, due to Bolshevik agents demoralising the Georgian army, which later melted away, allowing the Bolshevik • army to capture the town without resistance. Another Bolshevik army is marching upon Batoum, on which a Turkish army is also marching. The Moslem population will certainly support the latter.
