At the sales of River Plate wool 8783 bales were ogered and only 665 were sold. LONDON TALLOW SALES, LONDON. September 22. (Received September 23, 5.5 p.m.) At the tallow sales 1733 casks were offered and 1350 sold. Mutton, fine, 77/-, medium 71/-; beef, fine, 76/6, medium 71/-, LONDON WOOL SALES. LONDON, September 22. (Received September 23, 7.55 p.m.' At the wool sales there was a very poor demand, and 60 per cent, of the offerings were withdrawn, consisting chiefly of medium and low crossbreds and average faulty Merinos. Other Merinos are unchanged.
