Championship singles to lie played on tin- two lit- system in sections of three as in Christchurch last January. It was decided not t:i allow substitutes in the singles competition. It was also agreed that, no substitute ia rinks or pairs should be allowed to skip, and a clause to that effect is to be inserted in the tournament, programme. The entrance fees for the tournament are to be the same as at Christchurch last January. The executive for the tournament will be the president, vice-president, secretary, and treasurer, wil-h Me-.-rs F. Meadowcroft and T. Gray. An annual levy of 2d per member (of ail clubs aiiihaled to the Association < was strm k. It was decided to accept the invitation of the international Howling Hoard to send a team of bowlers Home, and a committee was api*)iut-ed m connection with the mat ter.
