BETTING ON FOOTFALL
.ACTION BY RUGBY LEAGUE. (Per United Press Association.) AUCKLAND, September 22. The Auckland Rugby League decided tonight. to lake effective measures to prevent betting on football grounds or interference with players or referees. It was also decided to exclude belting men from the League's ground. During the discussion it was stated that betting was very prevalent, nnd was having a detrimental effect on the game.
