U BOAT ATROCITIES
MURDER OF A SHIPMASTER.
A PROBATE COURT INCIDENT,

LONDON, April 26. The Probate Court, presumed the death of Captain Owen, commander of the steamer Windsor Hull, winch was torpedoed in the Mediterranean in 1918. When the crew look to the boats a submarine demanded the captain and took prisoner Captain Owen, who Iras not boon heard of since. Inquiries in Berlin ami Vienna led to replies that there was no record of the torpedoing. Counsel remarked that there was not likely to be any record if Captain Owen was taker, on board and disposed of. The Judge : The submission then is that Captain Owen was murdered. Counsel: It cannot be doubted.

HANDED OVER TO BRITAIN
ANTWERP, April 27. Captain Fryatt’s ship, the Brussels, was solemnly handed over to the British authorities. The ships in harbour were beiiagjred while the Union Jack was hoisted. The Brussels is going to England.
