PROTEST AGAINST CURTAILMENT. (Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, April 30. The Returned Soldiers’ Association, at its annual meeting resolved to protest against the curtailment of advances to soldiers on the ground that many obligations had been entered into and the deposits would be forfeited, and demanding that the Government shrould provide sufficient money to complete its engagements and carry on till Parliament meets.
