A SPECIAL MEETING
The local branch of the New Zealand Post and Telegraph Association called a special meeting to consider the following communication from the general secretary:— “My personal opinion is that the crisis precipitated by the railwayman is our crisis too, and the executive should have the earliest possible advice from all sections as to—(1) The attitude of their members in regard to supporting the roihvaymen; and (2) what course they are prepared to follow in the event of negotiations proving abortive. Meantime the committee is again pressing for an interview and full meeting will be held on Monday.”
