NOTE.—Mr Murray’s Shorthorn cattle are descended from cows purchased from the late Hon. Matthew Holms and Hugh Carswell. The bulls used since have been bred by Messrs Deans, Threlkeld, Taylor, Te Awamutu. and other leading breeders. All the Cows are in calf to the above mentioned stud bull, and this bull is the sire of the yearling and two-year-old cattle, Mr Murray’s cattle have been most successful in various show rings for years past. They have never been pampered in any way, and are widely known for their splendid constitutions and good skins. Individual pedigrees will be available at the sale.
