THE COTTON STRIKE
PREMIER MAY INTERVENE. (By Telegraph—Press Assn.—-Copyright.) (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) LONDON, December 11. It is expected that Mr Lloyd George will intervene in the cotton strike. The Committee of Production in London yesterday heard the claim of the weavers for a 50 per cent. Increase in current wages. Employers contend that this will mean an advance of 82* per cent, on pre-war wages. The committee reserved its decision.
