PROBATION CONDITIONS ABUSED. (Per United Press Association.) DUNEDIN, September 4. At the Supreme Court to-day, Patrick Joseph Oliver was brought up for sentence on a charge of failing to comply with the conditions of release. Prisoner pleaded guilty recently to a charge of forgery, and was ordered to come up for sentence when called on. The Probation Officer said prisoner made no attempt whatever to fulfil' the conditions under which he was released. The Judge ordered prisoner to be* detained for reformative purposes for a term not exceeding five years.
