Gibson Pareonson received a cable on Saturday afternoon that his son. Gunner Geo. C. Parsonson has been wounded, but no details are to hand. He left Australia with the Sixth Reinforcements, and was engaged in the evacuation of Gallipoli, and has also been in some severe fighting in France. Although this is his first time wounded, he -was dangerously ill for some time with malarial fever, and was not expected to return to France, but rejoined his unit last February. TEMP. MAJOR E. S. McINTYRE. Temp. Major E. S. Mclntyre, who was officially reported wounded on July 31, is now reported to have died of wounds on July 28. He was the sou of the late John Mclntyre, Thornbury, where he was born just on 23 years ago. He was educated at Flints Bush and Thornbury schools, and was engaged in farming when he enlisted in the Main Body. He took an interest in all local sports, particularly football.
