BORNE. —In France, on February 18. 1917, Sergeant Douglas Robert Borne, 4th Reinforcements, Australian Imperial Forces, beloved eldest son of Frederick and Isabella Borne, Eye street; aged 21 years. COWIE. —Killed in action, somewhere in France, on February 24, 1917, Oswald jcerguson Cowie, dearlv beloved eighth son of the late John and Elspet Cowie: aged 23 years. So foved; so mourned. He did his little bit for the Empire.
