To the Editor. yi Fi —Might 1 crave a little space in your ’ valuable columns with reference to the visit of the above company on Tuesday next? Invercargill recently proved itself a musical community by the keen interest and appreciation displayed at the last performance of those two excellent musicians. MM. Mirovitch and Piastre. Another feast of music now awaits us, and every lover of good music should attend this concert. Three of the visiting artists are personally known to me and I can vouch for their ability and artistic reputation. Without reflecting on the merit of any member of this splendid company, 1 venture to believe that Invercargill will be both charmed with and astounded at, the wonderful playing of the flautist, Mr John \madio. Critics who have travelled the world say that he has no superior. Invercargill can verify this on 30th insl.—l am etc., H. A. GLEESON.
