THE NAVAL DEMONSTRATION SPIES ARRESTED ELECTIONS POSTPONES (By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright.) (Australian & N.Z. Cable Association.) LONDON, September 5. Received September 5, 7.30 p.m. The .Morning Post's, Athen's correspondent, referring to the imposing nature of the naval demonstration at Piraeus, says that other and more important questions were being considered when the fleet was ordered thither, but these have been satisfactorily settled, and therefore are not referred to in ' the Note. Several Germans and Greeks engaged in espionage and German propaganda have already been arrested. As an example of the need for action it is stated that the German Legation warned those in danger of arrest a week before the demonstration occurred. The Government lias decided, with tlie Allies’ consent, to postpone the dissolution of Parliament and the elections.
