You should always have them handy. Here’s a Swedish recipe for cooking them, and it makes a delicious dish; Soak %lb of Haricot Beans overnight. Boil in sufficient water to cover till tender about two hours, and .slowly, for they mustn’t break. Strain the water from them, add teaspoonful of sugar, half a teespoonfnl vinegar, and’salt to taste.
