Received July 21, 10.5 p.m. A violent cannonading was heard between Landsort and Gottska Sandon Island on Wednesday night, and a large German torpedoer was seen In the morning steaming rapidly southwards. It is supposed that the Russians were pursuing the Germans, as firing was still audible in a more southerly direction. Firing was also heard near Sunsvall. GERMANS REPULSED LONDON, July 21. Received July 21, 0.25 p.m. Jn the reported naval engagement in the Baltic on Wednesday night the indications are that the Germans were repulsed. THE PRISONERS CAPTURED Telegrams.) LONDON, July 21. Received July 21, 9.25 p.m. The Hon. T. J. Mac.N’amara, Parliamentary Under-Secretary for the Admiralty, states that we have captured 136 naval officers and 2078 men. and the Germans have captured 45 British officers and 364 men.
