SYDNEY, February IT. It is officially stated that the price of meat is 55 per cent., and that of other food and groceries 19 per cent, higher than in 1914. 44 HOURS’ WEEK WANTED. MELBOURNE, February 17. The Trades’ Hall Council has asked unions to support the movement for a 44 hours’ week.
