SERBIA ANOTHER BOSNIA?
“The future of Servia is now tlie favourite topic for newspaper discussion,” says tlie Budapest correspondent of tlie Morning Post: “oven Count Andrassy and Count Apponyi have expressed opinions on the subject. Everyone now is asking tho question: What is to become of Servia after tlie war? Arc we going to restore it, minus -Macedonia, or are we going to keep it? The majority of tho writers in answering tho question hold that Servia lias been lost for good, aa least as far as the Karagcorgevich dynasty is concerned. It is curious that, while there seems to he no pronounced ill-feeling against tho Servian people as a whole, the ruling family of Servia is the object of even deeper- hatred than tlie Italians, who are supposed to beat the record in this respect. “Tlie motives of this singular hatred can easily bo understood. The people of Hungary are being led to believe that tlie instigators of tho war were tlie Karagcorgevich dynasty. For all tlie misery Hungary lias had to undergo during tlie past lit teen months the people here blame tlie Karagcorgevich family. “ ‘lf they accept tlie ruler we assign to them,’ said one simple soul, ‘we can restore their freedom and country, but if they should not lot Servia become another Bosnia.' ”
