(Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, February 11. The following is Mr Bates’ weather summary for the past 24 hours; —Warm ami fair to cloudy weather has predominated with local showers. Winds have been variable and genorallw moderate. The barometer has had a rising tendenev in the south. There arc signs of a storm developing northward of the dominion. Present indications arc for cast to south-easterly tvinds, increasing strong to a gale northward of East Cape and Kawhia," and freshening east to southerly winds elsewhere, the weather clouding over and rain following generally, heavy in the north where the barometer is likely soon to fall considerably.
