MOTOR CYCLE FATALITY. (Per United Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, February 10. Mr W. J. Taylor, aged 32, an unmarried resident of Rangiora, who was injured in a motor-cycle accident on Saturday, died at the hospital to-day. COLLISION WITH A TRAIN. AUCKLAND, February 10. The Wellington express struck Ormsby’s butcher’s van at the crossing at Otorahanga. The driver, Louis Atty, was seriously injured, the liorse was killed, and the vehicle was smashed to matchwood. SHOCKING ACCIDENT. HAMILTON, February 10. A shocking accident occurred this morning at Otorohanga. Lairs Atty, single, 27, was driving a butcher’s cart over a level crossing, when the Wel-lington-Auckland express dashed forward and struck the cart and carried it 50 yards, smashing it to matchwood. The horse was disembowelled. Atty was badly mangled. He was placed on a train for Hamilton, but expired at Te Awamutu.
