MORAL FORCES INVINCIBLE
In an interview with the Bucharest correspondent of the Corriere della Sera, M. Take .lonescu, the Roumanian exMinister, affirms his “absolute certainty" of the defeat of the Austro-German Alliance because, as he said, “I believe moral forces art invincible. Germany represents reaction, contempt of right, and crime, therefore it must be crushed. 1 - pity tne Bulgarian people, who are rushing into an abyss. Their only fault is that they pardoned Ferdinand’s crime in 1913.”
M. Jonescu continued 5 "I will use all my strength to induce Roumania to throw her sword into the balance. I can affirm that this is the nation’s keenest desire. Reason tells us a German victory is impossible. The heart and reason alike say that Roumanian abstention is impossible."
