STEAMER ON FIRE
GERMAN AGENTS SUSPECTED. CBy Telegraph.—Press Assn. —Copyright) NEW YORK, Sept. 20. The Greek steamer Atbenla has been abandoned afire in mid-ocean. The Tux- j »nia rescued the passengers and crew, only one life being lost. The Athenia is believed to have been set on fire by proGerman agents, but the reason is unknown as she carried no reservists. VANCOUVER. Sept. 20. A vessel, believed to be either the Donaldson liner Athenia or the former German Athenia, is afire. A wireless message states that the Anchor liner Tuxonia is believed to have taken all aboard.
