XN COMPLIANCE with (lie provisions JL of Section S9 of "The Education Act,” H*l4, and the Amendment Act, 1915, it is hereby publicly notified:— 1. That Nominations close at the High School Boards’ Office, Tay street, Invercargill, at noon on MONDAY, 9t.h day of AUGUST, 1915. 2. The Date of the Election is THURSDAY, the 19th AUGUST 1915. Every Candidate shall be Nominated in writing by one or more parents entitled to vote for his election. Eaclt such parent may nominate any number of candidates aot exceeding the number to be elected. If the Nomination Paper dees sot bear the written consent of the candidate nominated, such consent may be given by him to the Returning Officer before the nominations are closed. “TParcnt” means the father, if fie is living, of if not, the mother, or. if neither the father nor the mother is living. the guardian, of a pupil of The school.
