THE PAPER SHORTAGE
A REASSURING MESSAGE. (Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, July 23. The Prime Minister has received the following: cablegram from the Minister of Trade and Commerce, Ottawa: “Shipping company is taking 445 tons of paper per Karamea for New Zealand and will do the best possible thereafter. The service is likely to continue.” Mr Massey Is continuing his efforts to assure regular supplies of paper, of which a serious shortage is threatened.
