Every endeavour is being used to get these steamers completed for the coming meat season, and at present the arrangements are for rhe Mahana to leave London in October. Sailed—Mororo, for Nelson. THE WEATHER. SUMMARY AND FORECAST. WELLINGTON. July 23. The barometer has risen and the winds have changed to southerly since last evening, decreasing generally in force to-day. Conditions have continued gloomy and unsettled, and rain has fallen in many parts of the country. Present indications are for cold and changeable weather, with scattered showers, especially in the northern and east coast districts of the North Island. Moderate to strong southerly winds are probable, with a rising barometer everywhere.
