Wiig, agent. The Japanese steamer Shinkoku-maru foinpletcd discharge of 4500 tons of phosphates on Kriday afternoon. Site sailed on Saturday afternoon for Newcastle to coal before returning to Japan. Cable advice has been received by the agents for the Shaw Savili and Albion Co. staling that their chartered steamer MnmaH which loft London on March 27 for Wellington, continued her journey from Capetown on April 21. She is duo at Wellington on May 12. The New Zealand Shipping Company's Whakatane sailed from London on Saturday last for St. John. Canada, where she will load cargo for Australian and New Zealand ports. The chartered steamer Canastota took tha loading berth at New York for New Zealand ports on the 15th inst. The vessel should clear the American port by the 10th May. and will probably reacli Auckland, for tirst port of call, about the 22nd June.

The Waihora left Samarang on Thursday for Auckland and other New' Zealand ports, to discharge her Calcutta and Singapore cargo. The Wanaka, which loaded at Oamaru on Saturday, will load at Bluff to-day. and at Timaru on Wednesday, for Rapier. Gisborne, and Auckland. The New Zealand Shipping Company has received advice that the Paparoa passed Tcneritfe on Wednesday, bound for Wellington. The Pn'.oor.a. upon‘arrival at Dunedin on the 6lh May, will withdraw from the New Zealand-Hobart-Melbourne trade and enter the least Coast service, her place being taken by tbe Mokoia. which recentlv received a thorough overhaul at Port Chalmers, where stie was fitted with an additional boiler. The latter steamer will load Wellington. Hobart, and Melbourne cargo at Bluff on Kriday. 30th Inst., but her passengers will connect at Dunedin by proceeding from Bluff by the Puloona, on May 4.
