A BANKRUPT IMPRISONED. (Per United Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Alarch 21. Xoali Cohen, a bankrupt jeweller, was sentenced to one month's Imprisonment, with hard labour, for having failed to keep proper books of account prior to ids bankruptcy. ICE CREAAI PROSECUTIONS. DUNEDIN. Alarch 21. Six confectioners were fined IDs each am) costs tliis morning for selling adulterated food, within the meaning of Hie Act. The food in question was ice (■ream, which, according to the reguialoiis, has to contain not less than 10 per cent, of milk fat in the form of cream. Small penalties wore imposed as Hie cases were brought only to serve as a warning. it was not suggested Unit Hie ice cream contained any deleterious substances.
