ACCIDENTS & FATALITIES
ACCIDENTAL DEATH. The coroner (Mr T. Hutchison) presided at the enquiry which was held yesterday in regard to the death of Reginald Roff, which occurred on tlio East Road on Tuesday night. .Senior-ser-geant Renter conducted the enquiry. The purport of the evidence was that the deceased, who was a farmer, and about 2a years of age, was driving a trap, when the horse boiled, and went full speed along Mary street. Turing into the East Road the horse swerved, and the deceased was thrown out; sustaining injuries whicli caused his death. A verdict of accidental death was returned.
