STUDENT’S FALSE STEP, (Per United Press Association.) AUCKLAND, September 23. A lad named Evelyn .Johnson, a. student at a private college in Perry Buildings, stepped out of a window on to the glass verandah, and fell through to the pavement twenty-five feet, below, lie died instantly, his neck being broken. DROiV.VHD I.V THIS HARBOUR. WIIANGAKKI. September J3. Joseph Keyto, a single man. aged JO years, was drowned in the harbour, near Onerahi. yesterday, through the swamping of a dinghy while he was engaged in fishing. The body has not been recovered.
