Beard, of Edinburgh, after thirty years’ research, claims to have proved the certainty of cancer yielding to .sufficiently powerful injeptions of trypsin am ylopin. (These compounds are found in the pancreatic juice of man and their ferments. They are a necessary aid to digestion. being extensively used as a cure for indigestion. Trypsin amylopin has been known to the medical faculty for some years and has been considered a strong solvent of cancerous tissue. Hypodermic injections, in healthy tissues near the cancerous growth, have been tried with varying success for some years in the core of cancer).
